Description

Or, 'Megatron decides to adopt'.

A bit of a complicated scene that i envisioned, this giant robot that apparently came for this kid, (because he is soooo important and he is 'the one' or something), while creating panic, and this security guy calling for the people to take shelter.

The composition might be a bit crowded, but i hope i pulled it off. I guess i tried to tell a bunch of mini-stories in one image.

I wanted to have the girl look at the actual scene that happens behind her, but i would have had to turn her around and kinda hide the face. So i just went with this thing.

I used a bunch of brushes from Adonhis' pack, Odin bless him, also i discovered the power of smudge, and i think it's the first drawing where i actually used perspective.

It took some time, but all in all i'm ok with it.

The kid is dressed in a catsuit because i recently saw "Where The Wild Things Are".

Despite various 'OMG' moments invalidating my mental faculties for the time being (until jug boils and coffee is magically made for me), just HAD TO comment on how spectacular this is. It does tell many different stories, and it's actually inspired me to start thinking of, and writing some, in the first moments I laid eyes on this. Then Sir Cursor and I expanded it, and 'BOOM!' brain went offline. The sheer volume of detail is astounding, it is beyond mortal comprehension, believe that! I can't get over the multi-dimensional effect you've imparted through use of that smudge wand and strategically-placed tonal highlights. 'Megatron' (alt' title made me a$sfloor in laughter) appears to reach right out and THROUGH the 'layers'. Even though the starring female is, presumingly, what would first grasp people's attention, my eyes locked onto that mecha like beady magnets. Magic! This is so full of Win.
